Code of Ethics 
  • We aim to create as safe a space as possible for all marginalized folks.
  • Anti-oppression work is at the core of what we do. We aim to counter racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, colonialism, etc. through our efforts and actions as educators, healers, and activists.
  • Cultural appropriation, borrowing or stealing from a culture other than one's own is not tolerated. 
  • We bring marginalized voices to the center as a way to counter oppression and our collective narrative. We do this by listening to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) voices and perspectives first and foremost.
  • Gender is beautifully complex. We acknowledge that gender is a spectrum and welcome people of all genders including trans and non-binary individuals.
  • We honor the tribes whose land we stand on.
  • We respect the land and the honor the plants as living, conscious,  autonomous beings.
  • Ethical wildcrafting is the only wildcrafting.
  • We take care of the earth and always give back.
  • People of all genders, sexualities, races, cultures, abilities, and sizes are welcome.
  • We wish to create a culture of safety and diversity, where a thriving community depends on acceptance, true wealth, sacred hospitality, honoring of all cultures and the earth, intersectional feminism, friendship, mutual respect, love, and plant magic.
*BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. This distinction is important because it acknowledges the specific cultural oppression of Black and Indigenous folks, whose bodies were slaughtered, and used in genocide and slavery for colonization. They have a specific experience of racism in this country, different than that of folks who immigrated here from other places. While racism impacts all people of color, Black and Indigenous peoples have the added cultural history of genocide and slavery that should be acknowledged and repaired, whenever and wherever possible. BIPOC serves to acknowledge and be a part of that necessary work.
